Ahhhhhh!!!!
Today's my first time to Ubi circuit...urghhh...
Ok, no problem with stopping at slope and moving off...the coordination needed - handbrake, clutch pedal etc...no problem at all...all thanks to the torture Mr Toh subjected me to at Seletar Hills...
BUT...S-course, Crank-course...ahhh...I cannot remember at which point to start turning liao! Hmm...but I guess it's my first time...the next time will be better definitely!
Ok, so my instructor made me go through all the 10 test routes...and he was telling me about no. 6 and 7 test route which involves the 'most difficult' u-turn...because before the u-turn, need to filter 2 lanes...urgh...and then the u-turn is like so darn small and those cars...are moving at such high speeds!
So, I managed to filter those 2 lanes...hmm...and I finally get the essence of driving...to be "dan da xin xi" (be gutsy but careful)...hehe...actually he doesn't know I love filtering most :p HAHAHA...he must never know or else he won't let me do it so many times again...
Looking forward to my next driving lesson...I wanna perfect my reverse parking!
I think my performance sucks today...just cannot concentrate at all...asked me to turn left I went to on right signal...until a car got confused (sorrie lar whoever the car driver was...). I think too much TV liao...next time before driving must clear all my thoughts and concentrate...if not I gonna be a road hazard :(

Life should be like this...
As I was running on the threadmill in Bugis Amore Gym and watching those x'mas decorations from the windows, suddenly I realised I am totally enjoying my life now...
Morning driving lesson, afternoon exercise and then evening facial...oh man...that's what life should be - Do whatever we enjoy! :)
Somehow, the x'mas deco gave me a lot of inspiration to do some reflection and I realised that this year, my life is much better...I started working 4 years ago...and each holidays was spent working and still working...never get to totally relaxed, even at home, I was working!
But this year, I get to do things that I like during my free time :) And somehow I have MORE free time for myself lately... Is it because of my new working environment, or is it because I have learnt to balance work and personal time in my life now?
I think it's both...somehow, my new working envt are more people-oriented instead of task-oriented but there's pros and cons and hmm...I don't wanna discuss about work now because it's my HOLIDAYS! (counting down...it's ending soon...sad :( )
As for the balancing act, I think I am better at it now. I certainly realised that in my life, there are more important things than WORK, WORK and WORK... My parents, my brother, my boyfriend, my friends...I need to spend time with them!
And most importantly, I need time for myself. Someone once told me...'If you cannot even take care of yourself, how to take care of others?' And now I totally understand the meaning of it...because I feel myself more energised and more ready to face challenges at work once again! I don't ever want to forget this feeling of having time to do whatever I enjoy doing! :)
Today is a good day... hehe... my driving instructor Mr Toh told me that he will be bringing me to Ubi circuit on Sunday! FINALLY! YIPEE! :) And what he told me today was really encouraging (he has always been so encouraging) - 'Nowadays when you drive, I can relax'. :) Wow...does this means I am a safe and good driver? :))) Looking forward to my next lesson...it's so fun and so err...lemme see...so satisfying because I am making progresses :)

How often do you wash your hair?
Finally have my own blog :)
Never have the mood to do so but I think I am totally enjoying my holidays now and got plenty of time for myself...pick up driving, play my nintendo ds games, study for my advanced theory, gym, yoga, go for hair rebonding...
Geez...about that, YUCKS...I have not been able to wash my hair for like...lemme count...47 hours and 30 mins! For someone who washes her hair EVERYDAY, this is like super long record for me...
The person who invented hair-rebonding really deserves a noble prize! (Or has this person already got one?!) Now my hair is super nice, silky and soft...and my fringe is finally side-parted! And the best thing is, my hair is not as flat as when I first rebonded it 5 years ago! Gotta thanks May @ Hougang Swee Salon for her superb rebonding skill (I can even choose how flat I wanted it and she can do it to perfection for me!)
Ohhh...not that I've got very curly hair to begin with...BUT it's great to have hair that is so manageable after the chemical process! And baboo said I looked neater too :p And the money is definitely well-spent plus it lasts me for like 6 months as long as I don't trim my hair too much...
The downsides?
1. Cannot wash hair for like 48 hours (my hair stylist said more if I can tahan but NO WAY!)
2. Cannot tie hair for like one month?! (hello, this is Singapore! Tropical country! But well...I guess I could live with that part for this month since it's december...the only cold month for my little red dot)
Counting down to 6 pm...so I can wash my hair.
Later at night I'll figure how to change my blog template to one with Sanrio My Melody... :) Oh and also to figure out how to post pictures!!
